We Make Doors – Where they lead is up to you… Department/Team: Reports to Production Supervisor in Manufacturing / Production Shift (if applicable): Day Shift: JELD-WEN is one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers, with more than 22,000 employees operating in 24 countries globally. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows. Position available for General Production to assist our team in providing value-added goods and services to our customers. Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties: - Operate small and large machines in the production of windows - Work on window assembly lines - Inspect all product for quality - Material preparation and material handling - Staging and packaging finished product for delivery - Other general warehouse duties as needed - Ability to read a tape measure. - Basic math skills including fractions. - Ability to read/write/speak English. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance. - Manual labor work experience preferred.
