Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Maintenance Specialist. - Boca Raton, FL. The Maintenance Specialist will provide functional leadership for facility maintenance to the areas of Campus Recreation and the Student Union. This position is considered an essential employee. In severe weather or emergency situations, the University may suspend classes or close the University. This position would be expected to remain at or report to their facilities as soon as conditions reasonably permit. Summary of responsibilities: Facility Maintenance: Responsible for day-to-day work order response and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for identified buildings/areas.
