We are working closely with local authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of a Fly tipping rapid response , on a 5.5-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £16.29- £21.89 per hour Summary: The Fly Tipping Rapid Response Operative is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of public spaces across the borough. The role involves responding quickly to incidents of fly tipping, littering, graffiti, and environmental hazards while ensuring high standards of environmental cleanliness are achieved and maintained. Responsibilities: Essentials : - Respond promptly to incidents of fly tipping, littering, graffiti, and environmental hazards across the borough. - Carry out sweeping, litter collection, leaf clearance, bin emptying, and removal of waste from roads, pavements, shopping areas, public spaces, and council buildings. - Safely dispose of hypodermic needles and remove dead animals in accordance with training and procedures. - Drive and take responsibility for allocated vehicles, including daily vehicle checks, cleaning, and reporting maintenance...
