POSITION SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing support to skilled craft workers at marine project locations for Orion in the Southern Louisiana area - Lake Charles and Baton Rogue area. Incumbents are responsible for performing a variety of tasks for Welders, Pipefitters/Carpenters, and other skilled workers. Typically, they will work closely with a Barge Foreman, Crane Operator, Boat Captain, Welders, Laborers, and other site field personnel. The incumbent must support the guiding beliefs and core values of Orion which are centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Teamwork, most importantly with each built upon the all-important foundation of Integrity. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: - Works as assigned by the Barge Foreman to ensure the successful completion of on-going or new marine construction projects. - Assists skilled craft workers such as Welders, Pipefitters/Carpenters, or other skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
