Job description

The position is to help enhance Georgia Crown’s presence in retail outlets, in regards to customer service. - To regularly call on established accounts within a specific territory, promoting and selling the full range of Georgia Crown’s products. - Must have overall product knowledge, properly inventory and survey the store for sales opportunities, and have a positive, mutually productive relationship with the account. - Must achieve and maintain new distributions, shelf adjacencies, cold box adjacencies, and display goals. - Promote monthly programs and pricing, keep up with market trends and conditions, and be aware of competitive activities. - Sales rep should understand Georgia Crown’s policies and procedures, keep accurate account records and route books, keep monthly and daily preplans, and understand and work accounts within the applicable delivery schedules. - Must be concise and accurate in taking and placing orders and assist, when necessary, in collection and special problems.
