Application Analyst, Clinical Informatics (Epic MyChart)

Job description

Job Description Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Applications, the Application Analyst (Epic MyChart ) will use their clinical knowledge combined with their superior analytical skills to support Mackenzie health EMR (electronic medical record) and patient portal, MyChart. Additionally, they will work closely with MyChart operations, patient partners, physician leadership, nursing and allied health leadership, and various clinical groups to provide end user support, troubleshoot issues and errors in the system, enhance and improve EMR while maintaining system standards by analyzing business operations, prioritizing, and implementing requested changes. Additional duties will include participating in rotational on-call, integrated system testing, upgrades and optimizations of the software, training, and creating and maintaining training environments and curriculums, as well as developing and documenting policies and procedures and ensuring they act as the liaison between end users, EMR, and associated third party vendors to ensure clear communication.
