Material Handler

Job description

The Material Handler will possess a thorough understanding of Utility Worker functions. Under the guidance of Production Managers, Supervisors, and Leads, the Material Handler will be responsible for moving and scanning items between locational bins using a scan gun to ensure 100% accuracy and accountability. Additionally, the Material Handler will assist with inventory management and other warehouse tasks as needed and will receive forklift training. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Forms and loads shipping cartons; manually stacks and moves cased products. - Provides logistical support for all production and packaging activities. - Stacks and pallets products for the finish-packaging line. - Scans and moves products, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods using a scanner from one bin location to another. - Assists in transporting items under the direction of the Associate Plant Manager, Production Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and Production Assistants. - Understands and works safely with heavy equipment, including but not limited to various pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and forklifts. - Conducts inventory under the direction of Production Managers, Supervisors, Leads, Inventory...
