Overview i3 is seeking a Risk Manager to join our team and support an Aviation Project Management Office by leading comprehensive risk, issue, and opportunity (RI&O) management activities. This role is critical to delivering an integrated risk posture that informs leadership decision-making across weapon system design, development, production, and sustainment. Responsibilities: As a Risk Manager, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: - Lead and execute risk, issue, and opportunity management activities, including planning, identification, analysis, mitigation, and monitoring - Provide analytical support to assess and quantify risks impacting cost, schedule, and performance (the “iron triangle”) across the program lifecycle - Collaborate with government stakeholders, prime contractors, engineers, product managers, and business teams to ensure risks are identified, documented, and managed effectively - Maintain and update risk data within the Active Risk Manager (ARM) tool and ensure accurate, auditable documentation of risk narratives and mitigation actions - Support program planning by integrating risk mitigation strategies into systems engineering process...
