Department: 02362 HC Rome MOB 1825 Martha Berry Blvd - Sleep Medicine: Sleep Disorder Laboratory Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Wed - Friday 8p-8a or done with patients. Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85 ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Review history, physical, medications, order, and study protocol. 2. Complete and verify documentation. 3. Prepare and calibrate equipment and troubleshoot as necessary. 4. Apply electrodes and sensors according to the International 10-20 system. 5. Perform routine positive airway pressure mask fitting and titration. 6. Conduct artifact-free studies and make adjustments. 7. Implements appropriate interventions including CPAP, Bi-level, and oxygen administration. 8. Assists with Sleep/Wake stages. 9. Cleans equipment according to protocol. 10. Monitors inventory. 11. Scores polysomnographic studies according to The AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events. 12. Serves as a resource for Polysomnographic technicians. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: 0.
