Job description

Required: BLS required. - Perform MRI procedures: Generate high quality reproducible MRI scans based on physician orders and established protocols, position patients accurately and safely to capture the correct anatomical areas for diagnosis. - Prepare and educate patients: Obtain accurate medical histories and screen patients for any MRI contraindications, explain the MRI procedure and address any questions or concerns the patient may have, and investigate and research implanted devices as needed. - Administer contrast agents: Responsible for initiating intravenous access on patients, prepare and administer contrast agents, when necessary, remove intravenous catheters and apply patient dressings. - Operate and maintain various equipment: Including monitoring, biopsy, power injector and all other MRI related equipment. Recognize problems / malfunctions of equipment and possess the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine equipment checks. - Ensure image quality: Evaluate images for acceptable image quality and completeness. - Adhere to established safety standards, policies and regulations: Follow all MRI safety protocols and practices to protect patients and staff from any MRI...
