Position Summary: Join our exciting & dedicated team at Vallen as a Lead Warehouse Associate. In this position, you will be responsible for following established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, stock and store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse. You will also help leadership with coordinating work assignments, training, and mentoring others on performing similar tasks. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides training and/or mentorship to others in performing receiving, put away, picking, packing, loading, routing, and/or shipping. - Assists leadership with daily delegation of work duties/assignments and schedules. - Completes shipments by processing and loading orders; reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. - Unloads, receives and puts away incoming goods and merchandise; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices; may install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit from truck to warehouse and/or shelving. - Accurately sorts, labels, moves and...
