Apprentice Shop Technician - Texas First Rentals Department: Texas First Rentals (TFR): Employment Type: Full Time: Location: TFR - Wylie: Description: The Apprentice Shop Service Technician will assist the Shop Service Supervisor through on-the-job training (OJT) while learning and developing as a technician. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources;3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions: · Assists in performing maintenance and repair of rental fleet · Assists with installation, repairs, maintenance, and replacement of mechanical and electrical components · Examines and test equipment, components, and parts to ensure proper functioning · Adjusts, connects, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts · Attends required classroom instructions by Pro-Tech and HDSI classes · Maintains safety training and procedures · Receives coaching, mentoring, and feedback from service leadership · Requires regular and punctual employee attendance · Works safely at all times and adher...
