Traffic Design Engineer EI Department: Transportation: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Charlotte, NC: Description: DRMP is seeking a motivated Traffic Design Engineer to join our growing Transportation team. This role is ideal for an engineer with a passion for traffic operations, safety, and roadway design support , who is eager to contribute to impactful transportation projects across North Carolina and beyond. Your engineering assignments may include signal and intelligent transportation systems design, signing, pavement marking, work zone traffic control, and supporting DOT and municipal transportation projects . You’ll be working closely with roadway designers, planners, and senior traffic engineers to develop high-quality traffic plans and technical documentation.
