Job Description Summary The lead Engineer, Generator Product Service will lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to Gas Power Engineering. This lead engineer will serve as a recognized expert in the services field, both internally and externally, partnering with customers and industry leaders. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy, for customer success. Job Description: What You'll Do: - Provide technology contribution globally for generator technology and Electrical systems. - Lead root cause investigations for issues with significant fleet impact from initial investigation through the CAPA phase - Resolve in depth, technical issues in Generator technology and Electrical systems for customers timely and efficiently - Assure all component designs meet requirements for customers - Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services operations, quality and design engineering to fulfill customer needs. - Support service programs, fulfillmen...
