Freelance Translation Support – English to French (f/m/x)

The role: What's in the Box HelloFresh Benelux is looking for a freelance English-to-French translator to support our French recipe content production. In this role, you will work closely with our internal French translator/editor to translate, edit, and adapt recipe content while ensuring consistency with the HelloFresh tone of voice and culinary terminology standards. This is a long-term freelance collaboration consisting of weekly structural support, alongside additional coverage during holiday periods. What you’ll do: The Recipe: - Translate recipe content from English into French in Google Sheets, including: recipe titles, subtitles, and step-by-step cooking instructions - Edit and refine existing recipes requiring updates, revisions, or text alterations. - Ensure all French culinary terminology aligns with the HelloFresh writing style guide and brand tone of voice throughout all translation and editing tasks. - Collaborate closely with the internal French translator/editor and the editing team to support the editing team’s workflows. - Help maintain quality and continuity during holiday coverage periods. - The role will potentially shift more toward editing and refinement of...
