Overview Shift’s Available: Days: Employment Type: Part-Time: Hours: 7am to 7pm: Location: Providence Medical Center—Kansas City, KS An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. This ICU RN role requires advanced skills in critical care settings, quick decision-making abilities, and compassionate patient interaction. An ICU RN monitors vital signs and blood oxygen levels, administers IV fluids, and communicates effectively with the medical team to modify care plans accordingly. This RN can implement life-saving interventions, such as BLS, ACLS, and use specialized medical equipment like ventilators and EKGs.
