Job DetailsJob Location: Stokes Family YMCA - King, NC 27021Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $10.00 - $10.50 HourlyJob Shift: VariableAPPLY BY APRIL 27, 2026 The sports official must have an enthusiastic personality with an ability to develop relationships with participants, parents and other staff. They must have general knowledge of the major sports and a desire to use that knowledge to grow professionally with the YMCA. They should present themselves in a professional, caring manner and have excellent communication skills. They should also learn and understand the YMCAs mission and best practices in order to help foster and ensure all sports practices, games and events at the gym have a mission driven atmosphere. Schedule: Varies according to season and program needs. Evenings and weekends required. Responsibilities include: Officiate youth and adult sports games with enthusiastic passion and sound judgment Engage and build relationships with coaches, participants and parents Assist with projects as needed Monitor all activities in the gym or field including proper use of equipment Assure a fun, safe and quality experience that is in accordance with Association policies/gui...
