Assistant Director of Nursing – Med/Surg III North Location: Finger Lakes Health: Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer Finger Lakes Health is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADN) to provide leadership and operational oversight for our Medical/Surgical units III North This role supports quality patient care, staff development, patient safety initiatives, and operational efficiency while fostering a collaborative, relationship-based care environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and oversight for RNs, Nursing Assistants, Unit Clerks, and Operations Coordinators Promote high-quality, patient-centered nursing care and a strong culture of safety Monitor clinical indicators and lead quality improvement initiatives using evidence-based practices Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient care coordination and resource management Assist with recruitment, retention, orientation, and ongoing education of nursing staff Maintain readiness for regulatory and accreditation requirements Qualifications: Education: MSN or currently enrolled and in progress.
