Ichor Systems is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys improving processes and helping production run smoother every day. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer will be on site at our Sauk Rapids, MN location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned. Resolve problems quickly and make recommendations for long term solutions Investigate new methods of manufacturing or technology to improve current processes, increase capacity and throughput Communicate effectively with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Planning and other cross-functional departments. Coordinate design, documentation, installation, debugging, and setup of new fixturing or tooling. Operate manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment Participate in release of the new products and technology to manufacturing Participate in the development and preparation of technical work instructions for manufacturing.
