Job description
Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. The Operations team is hiring a hands‑on technician to keep our Munich sites running safely and smoothly. You’ll perform day‑to‑day maintenance, carry out basic repairs, and coordinate certified vendors for the jobs that legally require them. This is a practical, tools‑on role with clear ownership of the site’s essentials. Responsibilities: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC (filters/belts/AHUs), plumbing & sanitary hot water, compressed‑air distribution (drains/leaks), lighting and LV electrical basics, doors/gates/roller shutters, and small building works (paint/shelving/furniture). Do weekly visual/functional checks on UPS/central battery/inverters and emergency lighting; raise service tickets when needed. Coordinate statutory inspections with accredited providers (electrical checks, lifts, automatic doors, emergency lighting, sprinklers/fire doors & pumps, smoke extraction) and file the reports.
