SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SSEP): Summer Student Employment Program (SSEP) will be offered this year. The requirements for eligibility in the program are as follows: Program is designed specifically for students to give them the opportunity to work in functional areas across the campus. (This is not an internship or co-op opportunity). Opportunities include HR, Finance, Facilities, and PC&L. Other departments depend on need. Part-time work may be available prior to end of school year. The applicant must be 18+ years of age. The online application process must be completed in order to be considered. A positive performance evaluation must have been received from the prior year, if student is a returning program participant. Interview priority will be given to dependents of an Ithaca BorgWarner Drivetrain & Morse Systems employee. Assignments will be based on Company requirements, qualifications, and experience. The minimum pay rate will be at the labor grade 7 hiring rate of $17.82 Safety shoes (ANSI approved) may be required. They are reimbursable at $150 with purchase receipt (one pair only).
