Overview This position will rotate at least one weekend per month in addition to covering open shift in the Full-time Clinical Pharmacy Specialist schedule throughout the week. Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: Functions as a clinical expert in a specialty practice area (e.g. oncology, transplant, critical care, and/or nutrition support). Assesses and evaluation drug therapy and makes recommendations as appropriate. Serves as a preceptor for students and residents and serves as a resource for pharmacists advancing their clinical skills. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy; Eligible for Georgia Licensure. Candidate is required to be licensed in Georgia prior to official start date; ASHP-ACCREDITED PGY1 and PGY 2 residencies or equivalent experience. BPS certified preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
