As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Care Center at Decatur Memorial Hospital, you’ll provide life-saving care, coordinate treatments and support patients during critical moments. Work alongside a skilled team where every decision matters and every second counts. What You’ll Do: - Provide expert emergency nursing care, rapidly assessing and stabilizing patients in critical conditions. - Work collaboratively with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement fast, effective treatment plans. - Administer life-saving interventions, including medications, IV fluids and advanced resuscitation techniques. - Support trauma response efforts, assisting in high-acuity cases and critical procedures. - Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions and preventive care strategies. - Stay sharp in a high-intensity setting, continuously expanding your skills through hands-on experience and professional development.
