Year-Round Finance - Accounting Co-Op

Job description

This Accounting Co-op Analyst role is tasked with a wide range of responsibilities throughout the SBS General Accounting department. The tasks assigned to this role grant a wide range of experience that includes bank account reconciliation, profit and loss statement analysis, management reporting, and journal voucher creating and uploading. This is a year-round position and would be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments. - Assist with daily balancing of credit card transactions in US & Canada Stores and associated files received from banking institutions and assist with daily rejects reports. - Gather Account Receivable transactions on a weekly basis to reclass to proper GL account string - Work with group Financial Analysts to ensure timely uploads of submitted journal vouchers throughout the month and during month end close - Compile customer complaint accrual lag analysis - Assist in researc...
