MAJOR FUNCTION: Non-licensed person who performs clerical and communication functions on a nursing unit. Must be knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of the unit and hospital. QUALIFICATIONS: Certification/Licensure: - High School graduate or equivalent. - Previous monitor tech experience preferred. - Certified nurse aide or unit secretary preferred. - Dysrhythmia course completion required. Knowledge & Skills: - Able to read, write and speak English.
