The Opportunity The University of Central Florida (UCF) Libraries invites applications for two full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Librarian. These curious, creative, and forward-thinking professionals will serve as an Embedded Librarian for academic programs in the College of Arts & Humanities (CAH) or the College of Health Professions & Sciences (CHPS) on UCF’s main campus in Orlando, Florida. Under management of the Head of Research Engagement unit within the Academic Engagement division, these librarians will collaborate with faculty and students to advance teaching, learning, and research. Responsibilities include developing and implementing innovative strategies that support scholarly and instructional goals. Professional service and scholarship are expected. Faculty members are evaluated annually by the Associate Dean and receive operational supervision from the Unit Head.
