Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking a Box Machine Operator to join our team. The essential function of this position is safely operating the box machines at the highest possible efficiency while tracking production and scrap. Shift: Mon-Fri 2-10pm Sat 11am-3pm: Wage: $19.20/hour: Full time perminant: This opening is for a current vaccancy Primary Responsibilities: - Report to the shift supervisor regarding any issues on their machine, product or department. - Monitoring how the machine is running and fixing any minor problems. - Understanding and following all safety precautions and startup/shutdown procedures. - Track all pertinent information: initial scrap, blanks used, boxes produced. - Operate the machine in a way that eliminates shutdown. - Maintaining a clean workspace. - Understanding and following pertinent SQF regulations. - Ability to run baler and hand assemble all boxes. - Achieve daily production goals. - Knowledge of box inventory locations and min/max values.
