New Jersey Resources is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category management for technology and professional services. Identify and support strategies for a portfolio of technology and professional services spend categories through a variety of procurement tools and practices. Major Responsibilities: - Manage the sourcing life cycle for initiatives, defining scope and requirements with Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams to lead the competitive bidding (RFx) process, including vendor evaluation and negotiation of pricing and contract terms. - Apply industry expertise and best practices to design and implement category strategies and sourcing initiatives, including spend and market analysis, requirements gathering and stakeholder management. - Ensure established category strategies are aligned with business goals. - Build and maintain stro...
