Job Description The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is the nation’s oldest and largest public housing authority with more than 177,000 apartments, and responsibility for administering a citywide Section 8 leased housing program that serves over 200,000 additional tenants. NYCHA’s mission is to provide quality housing for New Yorkers that is sustainable, inclusive, and safe, while fostering opportunities for economic mobility. Reporting to the Director of Healthy Homes Administration Department, the Procurement Analyst L2 responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following: Examples of Typical Tasks: - Prepare solicitation documents such as RFP/RFQ required for all methods of all procurement activities comply with applicable policies, regulations, and agency guidelines. May develop clear scopes of work, specifications, and technical requirements to support competitive procurements and establish requirement or system-wide contracts for City or agency use.
