This responsibility includes the review with the patient of any previous findings, explanation of mammography examination and the actual taking of the images for the Radiologist to make the interpretation of the exam.Patients are to be treated equally and with dignity. This position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area. Employment Type: Part Time: Shift : Minimum one 8 hour shift weekly, with option to pick up hours Requirements: -Knowledge in area of Dexa scanning a definite plus. - Associates Degree or higher education - Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R)(M) - Certified Mammographer C-MAMM - BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association Performs Mammography Examination: - Performs the mammogram according to established protocol; reviews the films to determine the need for additional views; prepares the films for the radiologist. - Performs clinical breast exams according to Ma...
