Job description

GAI Consultants is seeking an Engineer 3 with a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering and a Pennsylvania PE license (or the ability to secure a PA PE license) plus a minimum of eight (8) years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in Civil Engineering. Potential work locations may include offices in Cranberry or Homestead, PA. Applicants would be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing highway design efforts as well as preparing construction plans, right-of-way plans, specifications, and project estimates. Specific Duties: - Assist the Project Manager with all portions of engineering projects; maintain quality standards for all aspects of the projects; mentor lower-level staff as needed for technical issues. - Assist with developing and providing oversight for the preparation of scopes, budgets, and schedules for specific tasks of overall projects, supervise staff to complete their assigned tasks; identify project staffing requirements and coordinate staffing with supervisor; maintain GAI’s procedures and protocols; assist with all aspects of financials on projects. - Design development, review, and management of assignm...
