Position Summary The position of Supervisor, First Class Community Response Unit supports the mission of the Department of Campus Safety to foster and maintain a safe and secure environment for its students, faculty, staff, and visitors by overseeing Security Personnel and by taking proactive measures to reduce crime while building strategic partnerships in the university community. In furtherance of these goals, the Supervisor, First Class will be a part of the Community Response Unit (CRU) which will address issues of safety and security on campus utilizing patrol, crime prevention concepts and safety initiatives across various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required to meet department needs. Qualifications: Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: Associate's Degree or one to two years college-level courses. Required Experience: 3+ years relevant experience in security, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
