Position Summary: The Business Development-SP Manager position at VSS will be responsible for one or both of the following: Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (May include some or all the following. Other duties may be assigned) - Staff management position residing part time at and supervising, one or more, combined On-Site Vallen Safety Center storeroom operation. They are responsible for leading the operations function at the local level, with full accountability of running the day to day storeroom operations and achieving customer expectations. This position monitors warehouse, administrative, customer service and technical services activities of a team of 1-5 direct reports. The position identifies and prioritizes inventory and service improvement opportunities and creates plans for implementation while ensuring the highest levels of quality assurance and quality control are applied - Responsible for business development of safety services business within an assigned customer deck and/or specific territory with a strategic focus on increasing Vallen's market share.
