Job description

The Material Handler performs multiple duties of handling, processing, and disposal of certain material. The material maybe sawdust, incinerated or waste material. ENVIRONMENT: - Pass drug screen - Pass pre-work ability screen - High school diploma or equivalency - Pass pre-employment tests - Pass vision screening test - Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner - Noise level requires hearing protection in designated areas - Season high temperatures and humidity - Work with hazardous material ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures - Regular/dependable attendance required - Flexibility of work hours including overtime - Able to work with and around moving equipment - Operate equipment that requires close control and adjustment - Take and pass initial hazardous waste training and attend annual refresher course - Sawdust technician will be required to maintain a Class B Electrician license - Must maintain a PIV License - Ability to rotate to other positions as needed - Other duties may be assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Job related experience is preferred. -...
