Basin Material Handling (Sturgis, MI) is seeking a forklift driver with strong organizational skills. This position facilitates and expedites the flow of materials to/from various departments by performing the following duties. Experience required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Transports material or racks to and from designated areas in the facility. - Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks. - Checking loads are secure. - Moving goods packed on pallets or on material carts around the facility. - Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. - Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards. - Dumping materials into machine scrap hoppers. - Other duties as assigned. - Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment. - Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
