Market Range: 25 Hiring Salary: Salary Commensurate with Education and Experience JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Associate Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Human Resources Officer for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center provides strategic leadership and direction to all facets of human resources management, compliance management, and payroll in all components of the University and its campuses/branches. This position works closely with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Faculty and Student Affairs to ensure oversight and management of faculty hiring and related support. This position directs the management of the various component activities of the University’s Human Resources Department, Office of Compliance, and Payroll, ensuring that all programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the institution.
