Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking to appoint a Laboratory Supervisor / Senior Materials Technician at our NATA-accredited laboratory located at Marleston. We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is physically fit and possesses a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will have an impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, risk-aware, and safety-driven. Your new job: - Perform ready-mix and quarry materials testing in our lab as well as in the field - Carry out equipment checks and calibrations - Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained - Daily use of computers and Laboratory information management systems (LIMS) - Lead our testing team and assist the technical team About you: - Previous experience in a similar role (CMT is preferred but not essential) - Hold a Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques (preferred but not essential) - Display excellent Health and Safety behaviours - Are physically fit and hold a current driver's license - Have strong literacy and numeracy skills (written and verbal) - Are available to work weekends and overtime (when required) - Maintain a professional...
