Position Overview: - Department: Cardiac Cath Lab - Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p - Work Location: East - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: To assist the physician in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias. To function in the roles of scrub assistant, monitor and circulator. To operate various equipment utilized in the cath lab. - Serves as a technical resource to other technicians; provides leadership and guidance in performance of daily tasks. - Prepares staff work schedule and coordinates employee time off. Plans and coordinates orientation and completes appropriate documentation of the orientation process. - Admits and orients patient to cardiac cath lab according to pre-procedural checklist. Accurately enters patient information to database, hemodynamic and x-ray systems. Explains testing procedure to patient and/or significant others including exam to be performed, type of contrast media used, length of exam and equipment necessary to perform exam. - Functions as a scrub assistant;...
