WHO ARE WE?: The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation (‘BCF’) is one of Sydney’s most trusted frontline charities and has been supporting the community for nearly 40 years. Our mission is to address homelessness and hardship by providing essential services including food, social welfare, healthcare, education and community programs. For over 20 years, our Literacy Program has been helping primary school children across NSW and the Northern Territory who have fallen behind in reading. By providing targeted, structured literacy support, we help students build confidence, re-engage in learning, and reach their full potential. THE ROLE: The Literacy Coordinator plays a key leadership role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Literacy Program across multiple schools. This position blends program oversight, mentoring and educational leadership with the opportunity to step into the classroom when needed to support learning continuity. This is a dynamic role perfect for an educator who loves teaching but also thrives in guiding others and shaping high-quality programs.
