Field Surveyor Location: Maryland or Virginia (Field-Based) Job Type: Direct Hire Pay: Starting at $30; higher rates may be offered based on experience. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Field Surveyor to support structural steel projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role is primarily field-based and involves collecting precise survey data, ensuring proper alignment, and supporting steel installation activities. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to job sites and working in active construction environments. What You’ll Be Doing: - Utilize surveying equipment to collect accurate field data for construction use - Establish building control lines, column placement, and anchor rod locations - Verify elevations, alignment of embeds, and produce as-built drawings - Support steel erection by ensuring proper alignment and placement - Coordinate with other trades to maintain plumbness and structural accuracy - Assist with installation of structural and miscellaneous steel (stairs, shafts, etc.) - Use tools and software such as Trimble, Bluebeam, CAD, and Microsoft Office - Promote and follow strong safety practices on all job sites What We’re Looking For: - 3+ years of e...
