**US BASED REMOTE OPPORTUNITY**: Travel requirements: 50-60%. Must be willing to travel to Canada & Mexico if needed. Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: - Provide senior-level EHS leadership across multiple U.S. manufacturing facilities in a matrixed environment, reporting directly to the Vice President, EHS. - Act as the primary regional extension of the VP EHS, ensuring strategy execution, governance, and performance consistency. - Develop, deploy, and continuously improve regional EHS strategies aligned with corporate objectives, operational excellence, and manufacturing KPIs. - Serve as a strategic advisor to regional and plant leadership on EHS risk, regulatory exposure, and capital planning. - Lead, mentor, and develop site EHS managers and specialists; build bench strength through coaching, succession planning, and formal training. Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable multi-state and local regulatory requirements across all manufacturing locations. - Maintain deep working knowledge of state-specific OSHA plans and environmental programs and ensure consistent implementation. - Lead and oversee regulatory inspections, thir...
