Overview FBM: Your Opportunity: FBM, one of Atlantic Canada’s most recognized and award-winning design and planning firms, is looking for a skilled Architectural Technician or Technologist to contribute to the technical execution of construction documents and support the design development and contract administration phases across our diverse range of projects. Reporting directly to the Technical Department Lead, you will be assigned to specific projects to provide dedicated support. Responsibilities: Technical Team Management: - Attend project start up meeting. - Monitor project schedule and budget, meet deliverables and milestones. - Delegate tasks to junior technical team members as required. - Monitor model health and drawing integrity. - Attend project team meetings as required. - Anticipate and coordinate crucial project information with consultants and/or client ahead of deliverables. - Provide mentoring to junior technical team as required (field questions related to software, constructability,drawing standards, process etc.). Design Development: - Clean and/or purge model elements from early design phases. - Develop the drawing package structure. (i.e. drawing sheet list)...
