Full Time (72 Hours Biweekly) Monday-Friday 0730-1600 or 0800-1630 4 days one week of pay period, 5 days second week of pay period General Summary: Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care. Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family teaching, symptom management, counseling, and supportive role to assist the patients and their families. May require specialized skills depending on location/unit/specialty assignment. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: - Provides general nursing care and personal care assistance to patients. - Writes initial nursing histories, assesses patients' conditions and develops individual care plans for patients. - Carries out physician orders such as administering prescribed medications or treatments, preparing an operating room, order lab tests, x-rays, etc... - Cleans and prepares rooms between procedures and after terminal cleaning. Monitors and restocks supplies. - Assists provider during examinations, non-operative and operative procedures. - Maintains aseptic techniques; actively monitors situations which could lead to breaches in aseptic technique. - Assists in pati...
