Job Posting End Date: Worker Sub-Type: Seasonal (Seasonal) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Position Summary: This summer seasonal position is responsible for prevention of injuries and drowning by enforcing pool rules. Trains for and carries out the Emergency Action Plan, not limited to, but including: responding to swimmer/wader water-related emergencies, responding to sudden illness, providing first aid, teaching swimming lessons, conducting water tests, cleaning the facility and equipment, and provides excellent customer service. Hours will vary based on candidate availability, department needs, and weather. Examples of Work Performed: The following duties are typical of this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned. Qualifications: Compensation: Starting hourly rate for Lifeguard is $13.00 year one, $13.25 year two, and $13.50 year three.
