Description POSITION TITLE: Agency Trainer and Wellness Coordinator FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt: REPORTS TO: Human Resource Director: POSITIONS SUPERVISED: NA: POSITION OVERVIEW: The Trainer/Wellness Coordinator is responsible for researching, planning, and conducting training programs needed to meet regulatory standards and facilitate job readiness for new employees. The Trainer will collaborate with program staff to ensure competencies are achieved. In addition, this employee will implement and facilitate an agency wellness program. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: - Research, plan, organize, and conduct new employee orientation including core training necessary to meet CARF, KDADS and agency standards. - Confer with HR Director, management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, and initiatives. - Create an organization-wide training program and schedule. - Coordinate training and department specific training schedules, ensuring provision of the following trainings at new-hire and annually: CPR, First Aid, CPI/Safety, Motivational Interviewing and utilization of the agen...
