Competent in trauma and medical situations, both pre-hospital and in the clinical setting. Possess a basic knowledge and the necessary skills to provide lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional emergency medical services (EMS) response. May need to assist additional EMS Responders at the scene and/or during transport.
