Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:30am- 5:30pm) Location: This position will primarily sit out of the W Ferry Street Office in Lafayette. There may be some travel required to the other Lafayette locations as well. Responsibilities: Qualifications: With 15 hospitals, including seven with Magnet designation and eight with Pathways to Excellence designation, our team members are leading the way through excellence. - This position oversees patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensures timely, accurate and professional services. - This position is responsible for timely and accurate resolution of patient’s accounts. - Responsibilities may include but are not limited to obtaining specific information to generate accurate financial and demographic records, insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits. - Communicates with payers and patients to achieve accurate financial information. - Responsible for accurate registration of patients, scheduling recurring appointments, answers incoming calls and directs patient and visitors appropriately. - Participates in operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as require...
