EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field with a minimum of eight years of progressive professional experience in accounting, finance or business analysis. Specific job-related experience is required in at least two of the following areas: general ledger accounting, generally accepted accounting principles, GASB interpretation and implementation, bond analysis, financial reporting, transit industry grant programs, grant costing, cost accounting, cost allocation plans, project acounting, Oracle integrated system set-ups, FTA guidelines, OMB guidelines, NTD (National Transit Data) reporting, and stimulus grant reporting. Designation as a Certified Public Accountant or a Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. INTERVIEW SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process may include one or more components to demonstrate applicants’ knowledge, skills and abilities in job related areas.
