Painter (Powder Coat) Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 5:30 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $18/hr+ Job Purpose: Support the Paint Line Team by applying high quality powder coating using cone, disk, or nozzle type industrial equipment. You may rotate between stations as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Start and adjust conveyor and spray equipment. - Set paint pressure and flow; monitor gauges. - Hang parts as they come off the line. - Inspect parts for paint quality (runs, sags, missed areas). - Adjust spray patterns to correct coating issues. - Clean paint booths, hooks, grids, and spray equipment. - Hand spray parts for touch ups or rust prevention. - Mix paint per specifications and adjust consistency. - Follow SDS and safety requirements. - Complete other assigned tasks. Qualifications: Education: - High school diploma or GED preferred (not required) Experience & Knowledge: - Understanding of powder coating, ovens, conveyors, and wash systems preferred - Ability to read blueprints, specs, and shop documentation - 1+ year manufacturing or related experience preferred - Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages) - Ability to use calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measures - Abi...
