Job Description Summary Job Description: Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED equivalency - 1 year experience paint shop operations - Requires use of basic hand tools and measuring devices (verniers, micrometers, measuring tape, calipers, scales, etc. - Proficient in use of basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) - Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation - Understanding of basic mathematical principles (conversions to decimal system; milliliters, grams, etc.) - Must pass visual acuity exam. - Must be able to pass FAA Drug Screen Essential Functions & Responsibilities: - Perform painting on all products and specialized parts (i.e. – DDSI parts, bellows, NPD) - Perform complex error repairs in materials or surfaces - Responsible for ensuring expiration date of materials to ensure materials are current - Most frequent interaction with internal and/or external customers and support functions (i.e. – Planners, Engineering) outside of home department - Act as primary contact for auditors - Perform duties on proto-type or first-time builds - Participate in and support team initiatives - Cross-train with other employees as needed base...
